Lift refurbishment using 3M™ DI-NOC™ at Hotel Nattergalen
Background
The lift at Hotel Nattergalen was in need of a revamp to create a unique and magical experience for guests. Situated close to the H.C. Andersen House, the hotel wanted to reflect the city’s cultural heritage through an inspiring and atmospheric lift interior.
The process
We installed 3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes, specifically DW-2214MT, a matt wood-effect film with a realistic texture and fingerprint resistance. The installation involved cladding the lift walls and doors, with particular attention to detail and durability. The work was carried out efficiently to minimise disruption to the hotel’s day-to-day operations.
The result
The lift has now become a talking point amongst guests and contributes to the hotel’s unique character with its Hans Christian Andersen theme. The hard-wearing, fingerprint-resistant film ensures easy maintenance, whilst the solution is also environmentally friendly as it transforms the lift’s appearance without the need to replace any materials.
