Skårup School, Svendborg Municipality: Window film fitted to 194 windows
Background
Svendborg Municipality wanted to improve the indoor climate and protect pupils from the sun’s harmful UV rays at Skårup School. To avoid disrupting lessons, the project was scheduled for the autumn half-term.
The process
We fitted 3M™ Prestige 70 Exterior window film to 194 windows over the course of four days. To ensure the work went quickly and smoothly, the tasks were divided up: some team members cut the material, others cleaned the windows, and the rest installed the film.
We were lucky with the weather – there was almost no wind, which made the work easier and more efficient. Careful planning and teamwork ensured that the installation could be carried out without disrupting the school’s activities.
The result
Pupils are now enjoying a better indoor environment, with reduced heat and effective UV protection.
The project promotes well-being and learning, and enables us to contribute to the health and wellbeing of future generations.
