Security film for protecting confidential information in office environments
Background
In modern office buildings with large glass façades, transparency is an architectural advantage – but it can also pose challenges for data security and GDPR compliance.
In this project, the requirement was to protect confidential information in meeting rooms situated directly at street level. Content on screens and TVs could potentially be viewed from outside by passers-by or from neighbouring buildings.
The aim was to implement a discreet solution using security film that prevents unauthorised viewing and protects visual information – without reducing natural light or creating a closed-off working environment.
The process
The project involved fitting security film to eight windows in meeting rooms directly facing public areas.
A specialised security film was selected for visual protection, which:
Reduces the risk of visual data leakage
Restricts the view of screen content
Preserves natural light
Maintains a clear view from the inside
The installation was planned and carried out with minimal disruption to day-to-day operations. Our team always ensures that the solution is tailored to the building’s architecture and complies with applicable security standards.
The result
The result is an effective and virtually invisible solution for visual information protection.
Passers-by can no longer see the content on screens or TVs in meeting rooms, even when standing close to the façade. At the same time, a bright and open office environment is maintained.
This type of security film is particularly recommended for:
Ground-floor offices with large glass areas
Buildings with neighbouring buildings close by
Coworking spaces
Companies handling sensitive data and screen-based work
The solution supports both the GDPR, employees’ privacy and the company’s professional integrity.
