Background
At Ramudden, a solar film had already been fitted, but unfortunately it did not quite live up to expectations – neither in terms of quality nor effectiveness. They therefore contacted Optinor to find a more durable and effective solution.
One particularly challenging area was a meeting room with large glass panels beneath a beautiful glass bay window. Although architecturally stunning, the sun made the room almost unusable on hot days.
Our solution combines heat-reflective solar film with partial covering in white vinyl, which still allows daylight to enter. This has resulted in a better indoor climate, increased comfort and greater privacy – without compromising on aesthetics.
The process
The installation was carefully planned so that the work could be carried out quickly and with minimal disruption to Ramudden’s day-to-day operations. Our team worked efficiently and flexibly to ensure that both the solar film and the vinyl were fitted correctly – without compromising on quality. The solution was completed in a short space of time, and the meeting room was ready for use again – now with a better indoor climate and enhanced comfort.
The result
The meeting room can now be used as planned – even on sunny days. The heat has been significantly reduced, and staff are noticing a clear difference in comfort. The solution combines aesthetics and functionality, and Ramudden now has a solution that works in practice – every day.
