Background
At a care home in North Zealand, comprising 45 residential units and communal living areas, staff faced challenges with intense sunlight, heat and people being able to see inside through large window areas.

The process
At Optinor, we recommended a solution using mirrored film for the existing glass sections.
The mirror film reduces heat and glare from the sun whilst also providing greater privacy during the day through a discreet one-way effect. The solution makes it possible to maintain the view and natural light, whilst significantly improving the indoor climate.
The installation was carried out quickly and efficiently, with minimal disruption to daily life at the care home.
