What is the new CER legislation, and why is it important?
The new Critical Entities Resilience (CER) legislation is designed to ensure that organisations providing critical services, such as energy, can withstand serious incidents such as explosions, sabotage or extreme weather.
The aim is to protect people, society and the security of supply.

The final assessment is carried out by the Danish Energy Agency, but all businesses in the supply chain are encouraged to review their physical security.

Shatterproof glass, also known as safety glass, is made from polycarbonate, which is 300 times stronger than glass. It can withstand vandalism, break-ins, gunshots or explosions.
What is the difference between burglar-proof windows and security film?
Burglar-proof windows are typically made from thicker, reinforced glass and often feature multiple locking mechanisms. Security film is a more flexible and cost-effective solution that can be fitted to windows to improve security. Burglar-proof windows may require a complete replacement of existing windows, whilst security film can be easily installed.
