Anti-graffiti protection at Køge Nord Station using a discreet film
Background
Køge Nord Station, a modern, newly built station featuring large glass and steel surfaces, faced the challenge of protecting these surfaces from vandalism, particularly graffiti and scratches. Banedanmark wanted a solution that would preserve the station’s aesthetic appeal whilst minimising maintenance costs.
The process
We installed a specialised anti-graffiti film on the station’s exposed glass and metal surfaces. The installation was carried out with a focus on precision and durability, to ensure long-lasting protection without compromising the architectural design. The work was organised to cause as little disruption as possible to the station’s operations.
The result
The station’s glass and steel surfaces are now effectively protected against vandalism, which has preserved its clean and aesthetic appearance. The film blocks up to 99 per cent of UV rays and contributes to cost-effective maintenance. Banedanmark has been provided with a durable and discreet protective solution, which is recommended for similar public facilities.
